 Translating Experience Into Education

With over 10 years of experience as an active real-estate agent and investor, Trish Ofori has sold over 170 houses as an agent and personally bought and sold nearly a dozen properties. She has used the wealth of knowledge and experience gained from previous transactions to provide resources for others through workshops, seminars and hosting events that encourage community sustainability and homeownership. Take a look at some of the ongoing initiatives and collaborations Ofori & Co. has successfully established to give back to the community.

Ofori & Co. Gives Back

As part of the company’s mission to create and foster community, for the entire year of 2020, Ofori & Co. has pledged to donate $500 to a person of color-led non-profit operating in Baltimore City for every house successfully renovated and sold.

The Art of Business

Ofori & Co. believes in cultivating relationships between artists and business owners. In 2019, Trish launched an ongoing event series, The Art of Business, which brings together local creatives and entrepreneurs to discuss issues centered around the creative economy. Cultural placemaking and diversity in curation are just a few of the topics that we’ve presented to the audience and panel through the event series. The Art of Business also serves as an art show and vendor marketplace, where food and art is sold by local creatives.

Black Women of Mount Vernon

Trish is a part of the organizing group of women for an on-going event series which highlights local Black-owned businesses within a half-mile radius of the Mount Vernon business district in Baltimore. The event includes retail experiences, real-estate tours, and local business tours. The first BWMV event focused on local Black women-owned businesses, and the series will continue to promote similar entrepreneurs and vendors in the future.
